Good Trinity High School has always believed in shaping the minds of its students to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. This year, as part of the nationwide "Swachh Bharat Mission 2024", the school has undertaken a new initiative to instill the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in students.
The Swachh Bharat Mission, launched by the Indian government, aims to create a cleaner and healthier India. It emphasizes cleanliness not only in public spaces but also in homes, schools, and communities. At Good Trinity High School, the mission has been embraced wholeheartedly. The school has made cleanliness and environmental care an integral part of the curriculum, encouraging students to take active participation.
The school began with Swachhta Abhiyan, where students from all grades participated in cleaning up the school campus and surrounding areas. Equipped with gloves, brooms, and dustbins, students enthusiastically took on the task of sweeping and collecting waste, ensuring proper disposal. Teachers used this opportunity to educate students on the importance of segregation of waste and the hazards of plastic pollution.
In addition to physical cleaning activities, the school has introduced regular workshops on maintaining personal hygiene, conserving water, and proper waste management. Creative competitions like poster-making, slogan-writing, and essay contests on the theme of *Clean India* were organized to further embed the values of cleanliness and environmental sustainability in the students’ minds.
Good Trinity High School's commitment to the Swachh Bharat Mission 2024 goes beyond just cleanliness drives. It aims to create a lasting impact by ensuring that every student grows up understanding their role in making India cleaner, greener, and healthier.
